Lenticular Booths are urban furniture modules that provide maximum flexibility and endless configurations to support various social settings. It is constructed by laminating layers of Caesarstone and plexiglass with tweening sectional profiles to provide all-inclusive social space for visitors across various generations with different needs. The booths are divided into different zones according to their stone shades. Palm Shade provides barrier free accessibility, Midday serves families with children where facilities are designed to serve all generations, and Clearskies provides a dynamic setting that serves all individuals. The booths can be connected together to form a Social Tube when social distancing rules are lifted. The plexiglass segments at every 6 feet provide natural light and visual transparency inside the Social Tube. Within each 6-feet module, a recessed light strip is integrated in the middle along the interior and exterior profile line to provide general interior lighting and decorative exterior lighting at night. This decorative exterior light presents a shell cracking effect, symbolizing the idea of coming out of the cave at the end of the pandemic era. Once they come apart, the booths can be arranged in different configurations to stimulate interactions between different groups of people, to support various social events, and to frame desirable site views.
